Historic me is an interactive application which serves as a school excursion trough Amsterdam. It's was designed for groups five and six of elementary school. It was inspired by the game "Kolonisten van Katan".
The excursion combines knowledge of the history of Amsterdam with the fun aspects of a game. Users have to pick a role and have to complete a quest. In order to complete this quest they have to trade witch each other, take a tour through a museum, and find hidden objects in Amsterdam.
The prototype was build in HTML5, CSS3 and JAVAscript. The animations are made with After Affects and designed in Photoshop. You can download the demo. Please take note, it only works in Google Chrome due to the loading of h264 video's in the background.
